Choosing the images only format gives you one row per image across the whole catalog: which product it belongs to, its position in that product’s gallery, the direct image URL, alt text, dimensions when available, and which variants (if any) use it as their featured image.

It’s built for exactly this - a flat list of every image address in a store, ready to paste into a download manager, an audit spreadsheet, or a script of your own. This tool gives you the URLs; it doesn’t download or zip the actual image files.

Works the same whether you paste the store’s URL (fetching everything live) or drop a saved products.json file.

Because every row also records which product an image belongs to, the resulting list stays useful even after downloading - you can match files back to products later using the handle and position columns, rather than relying on whatever filename Shopify happened to assign to the original upload.
